The Devil in the White City

Reading Material

Excellent book. It covers the insane challenge of building the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago in 1893. Daniel Burnham and a crew of top American architects designed and built what people called the "White City."

But here's the thing. While all that was happening, a serial killer was prowling the Fair. Killed somewhere between 27 and 200 people. Mostly young women. Wild story.
