Tech stack: IIS 6.0, Windows 2003 Server, dedicated box at APlus.net. Powered by Narrative CMS from Renkara Technologies. Narrative isn't public yet; preview release coming January 1st, 2004.
Under the hood it's an ASP.NET app. Half a dozen web forms, about a dozen user controls. All built on the Renkara.Content class library.
Content gets cached for 5 minutes via ASP.NET Caching. I write something, publish it, and it shows up on the site after the cache cycles. Simple.
Server specs: 1 GHz AMD, 512 MB RAM, 60 GB disk, 450 GB bandwidth per month. $79/month. With the caching setup, it's handled 275+ concurrent sessions without a single IP or Socket error. Not bad for $79.
