I put back the Palaam theme. The other one was…grating.

Well, the flight was pretty decent. They showed the movie Fool’s Gold, which I did not watch - because I was working - but which looked very intriguing and thus, will be picked up for future viewing. Spent most of my time testing Objective-C code to post keystrokes from one application to another. Who knows what that could be used for. Waited about 10 minutes for my checked bag. Twenty minute taxi from the airport to the San Francisco Omni Hotel, which is walking distance to the Moscone Center where the WWDC is being held.

Paper towels in the restroom. Faucets that turn on and off by hand. Sometimes, it’s nice to have a good flow of water without having to worry about hand positioning. Bowls of Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate squares next to the ice water dispenser. Yum! Free!

The ultimate luxury for a modern day business traveller is peace of mind. I am on the way to the 2008 WWDC in San Francisco. I had a 3:05pm flight out of O’Hare until a wicked thunderstorm blew through the Midwest. Now that has become a 4:30pm flight. No big deal for me; other than that, the whole airport experience has been quite pleasant. I got checked in, checked in my one bag (first bag still free with United!
