My dad has been looking for a Mark Twain bust for quite awhile. Thought it would be cool to have a company that makes busts from digital photo scans. Abracadabra! Here it is!

2005 Chicago Luxury Home Tour
Ahu and I went on the 2nd Annual Chicago Luxury Home Tour on September 17th. The Tour is sort of like a mass open house for new luxury homes. A number of builders in the Chicago area open up various homes to the general public. The homes are typically over 5,000 square feet in size and priced over $1 million. The Tour is, for many people, the only way to see first-hand inside the homes of the very wealthy.

New Search
ForkBender.com now has a new search box! The Narrative CMS now has search capabilities and ForkBender.com is the beta test site. When you type in a word like “powerlifting” or “golf” in the search box at the top of the right-hand column and press ENTER or click “Search”, a search results page will appear. This functionality will be changing (read: improving) a lot in the next few weeks. Let me know if you run into any issues.

Other Ways to Pass the Time on the Train
I like writing on the train, as mentioned in this previous post. However, it’s nice to take a break and do other things sometimes. Here’s a list of the other ways I pass time on the train.
Playing video games. The Sony Playstation Portable (PSP) that I have is great for passing time. Each game comes on a little UMD disc and so I can easily carry a library of games with me.

To All the Kids Who Survived
This article was sent to me by email. It’s quite interesting when you consider the way things are today versus the way things used to be.
To All the Kids Who Surived the 1930’s, 40’s, 50’s, 60’s and 70’s!
First, we survived being born to mothers who smoked and/or drank while they carried us.
They took aspirin, ate blue cheese dressing and didn’t get tested for diabetes.
Then after that trauma, our baby cribs were covered with bright colored lead-based paints.
